John and Marion Kinch are founders of The Elms and are the strength behind the success of the park today, having both worked extremely hard to build the business from scratch.
Sadly John passed away in November 2016, you can read more about John’s life and his journey building The Elms here – Remembering John Kinch
Johnny Kinch, or just John to many, is a well-loved face on The Elms. For many years John has helped deliver the gas to residents and as a result has often gone by the name ‘gas man’. After many years of hard work, Johnny is now enjoying his retirement with his wife Alison.
They are both very actively involved in charity work, notably for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
In 2016 Johnny was successful in getting his own guide dog Quaver who you may see with him walking around The Elms.
Ann Brownett is Sales and Advertising Manager for the family business. Her role can also be quite varied including many aspects of office administration. Ann is often the first person people meet when they visit The Elms.
She will accompany visitors on a guided tour around the park during their initial first visit. Ann has two grown up boys and has a very keen interest in keeping fit. She is also currently studying photography.
Tracey Coulson is a Director and the Company Secretary for the family business. She is in charge of the overall administration of all aspects of the business.
Tracey is married with one child and enjoys the variety of tasks her job includes from accounts, to marketing, to talking to residents. In her spare time Tracey has a keen interest in alternative medicine, with qualifications in massage, MLD, herbal medicine, Reiki and Hands on Healing.
Stuart Kinch is the Managing Director of the family business. Stuart grew up as a young boy working at the weekends and during summer holidays helping his Dad, John, develop The Elms.
Having watched his Dad working for many years there isn’t much about the Park that Stuart doesn’t know! Married with 3 children his home life is equally as busy as his working life.
